The
Commodore Owners Car Club in Adelaide dates back to 1993 when founder
Rino Da’lfonso decided to establish a club for Commodore enthusiasts. Some time later Allen Bates took over Rino’s position as President, with the support of Colin Baker as Cruise Coordinator. A number of years later the club experienced a name change to Commodore Crazy Car Club and it was about this time that Colin Baker took over as Club President. The club remained known as the Commodore Crazy Car Club until another name change saw it gain its current title of the Commodore Owners Car Club.In June 2002, Cliff Gausden took over the position as president from Colin Baker. Colin’s dedication to the club was greatly appreciated by its members, but due to time constraints running his own business, Colin made the decision to hand over the reins to someone else. The Club to this Day is still going strong |
ABOUT
COMMODORE OWNERS CAR CLUB Over the many years this club has been running, we have tried our hardest to make the club the best it can be. The Club participates in many Car Shows around South Australia. and also holds Events like Cruises, Dyno Days, Social get togethers for a BBQ or Mini Golf or Go Karts. We try and bring in as many events as we can to make the Club an enjoyable and fun Club. The
Club is open to anyone that takes pride in their ride and enjoys socialising
with people of the same interests and of all ages. All model Commodores
from the VB to the latest models. Also the club is open to owners
of Statesman's VQ upwards and Commodore Utes,Wagons, HDT, HSV,CSV. The Commodore Owners Car Club was the 1st Commodore based Club in South Australia and is still going strong. The reason for this is we have had a lot of dedicated people keeping this club up and running. And also if it was not for the members and sponsors of course we would not be here. The Commodore Owners Car Club is not a club that will tolerate hoon behavior at all, We are a Club where Members with Kids and their dogs can come along and have an enjoyable day without the stress of hoons spoiling the day. We have zero tolerance on Hoon driving in our Club. We also have a very good reputation with the South Australian Police. And we want to keep it that way. Anyway that is a little bit of info about our Club. We do hope that people really consider being a part of our Club. |
